Humans quite often do not realise that their communication is not just limited to speech and written forms. Their gaits, expressions, postures, clothing – almost everything speaks for itself and communicates.

Conversing through Posteriors is a collection of such imagery made from photographs shot on Swanston Street on 7th March 2020. Every image shows a human’s back view, communicating endless things. 

This zine is an outcome of experimentations with communication forms, produced to be showcased and sold at The Melbourne Art Book Fair 2020 at NGV.

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which I live and work: Wadawurrung people and pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging of the Kulin nation.
