Aiming to work towards zero hunger and towards the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals' responsible consumption and production goals, Surplus is designed to manage surplus (yes, hence the name) products in your pantry.
The app scans your pantry, provides various tabs to manage it, tracks leftover food, lets you browse new recipes and replaces cooking ingredients. The app is designed to be fun, friendly, and fast with navigation to suit its users who are predominantly students and young people living alone. Surplus also encourages donating the money saved on groceries to major food crises worldwide through World Food Programme.
